Our Community Mentors' vision is to ensure that residents in historically underserved communities are equipped with the academic, professional, and quality-of-life resources they need to conceive and realize all of their goals.
Our Community Mentors’ mission is to help residents mentor their neighbors in advancing academically and professionally. We strive to empower communities from the inside out by helping them invest in themselves.
“Every person should be afforded the opportunity to discover and reach their highest potential” – Dr. Shindale Seale
Central to our mission is providing quality-of-life resources to our residents. To that end, Our Community Mentors provides a series of Financial Literacy classes in a virtual environment. Our customized approach ensures that the classes are not only relevant but engaging as well.

As global citizens, it is imperative that we know the various cultures and groups we come in contact with, even those with which we have no interaction. To bridge this gap, Our Community Mentors conducts Cultural Events & Presentations for schools and community organizations.

While "Carrots & Coding" may be more healthy, it just isn't as catchy or enticing as "Cookies & Coding". Our Community Mentors, in connection with our affiliate Creative Spoons, conducts coding sessions for pre-teens and teens throughout Los Angeles.
